Perisno has the added complication that relations aren't always what you expect. In Pendor, be aware that if you take the starting option of the letter giving you a claim, that you will have slightly negative relations with some factions - you'll want to buy them off by finding a lord at home (not in the field), otherwise you'll be dodging bandits, rogue knights, invader armies, AND kingdom patrols. There is hardly ever peace, and every faction has their own goals for conquest. The land of Perisno is at war, with countless major powers fighting for control.
